I’ll be the very first in my family to earn a college level, and that’s something I hold extremely near my heart.
My household and I moved to the United States in 2014 We picked Memphis as our 2nd home to begin fresh and construct a far better future.
When I graduated high school in 2020, I made a decision to join the Army Book so I could function permanent to help support my household monetarily. Along the way, my moms and dads constantly reminded me of the relevance of an university degree. Honestly, I battled with the decision in between choosing job over school.
That changed when I discovered the University of Memphis Global (UofM Global) where I could make my degree 100 % online from an accredited, across the country recognized Carnegie R 1 college. The flexibility of the program made it feasible to stabilize job, life, and education and learning. Once I signed up, I knew I made the best option.
As an on the internet trainee, I stayed entailed with campus life via job fairs and signing up with trainee companies like the Society of Personnel Administration. I wished to get one of the most out of my university experience and connect with individuals that shared my passion for human resources.
Last November, I released to Kuwait, with a month left of fall term. Many thanks to the support and framework of UofM Global, I had the ability to finish strong, also making the Dean’s Checklist. I’m taking 4 courses while offering on active duty, and I’m honored to state I’ll be finishing in May.
Being able to offer my nation, sustain my family, and earn my degree suggests the world to me. I feel prepared to tackle whatever follows.
